From Paris with Purpose: Kicking Off the PL European Tour

Episode Overview

🇫🇷 Bonjour from Paris — with the Eiffel Tower as our backdrop and partnerships on our minds!

Kicking off the Partnership Leaders European Tour in the City of Light was nothing short of magical. Asher and I had the chance to catch up for a quick conversation under one of the world’s greatest architectural feats — and, unexpectedly, a perfect metaphor for what we’re building in this ecosystem.

Asher shared a powerful analogy:

“The Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty both took immense effort to build — but with a solid foundation, they’ve become lasting symbols of pride. We have the same opportunity in partnerships today.”

That’s the spirit behind this tour. We’re not doing tier-two venues or watered-down meetups. These events — in Paris, London, Manchester, Amsterdam, and Berlin — are intentionally designed to be high-quality, community-driven, and focused on the future of partnerships.

More than 150 partner pros are joining us here in Paris, 250+ in London, and many more across Europe. We’re gathering insights, connecting the global community, and paving the way for even deeper conversations at Catalyst in Denver, Aug 21–23.

This isn’t just a tour — it’s a movement. A chance to shape the future of our industry by learning from each other, elevating partner leadership, and laying the foundation for the next generation.

📸 Follow along — we’ll be sharing videos, interviews, and takeaways from every stop.

It, wow. Here we are, what this is, the Eiffel Tower. Behind us, the Eiffel Tower is incredible. We are here in Paris, and you know, two weeks all about partnering the next two weeks. And so excited to be here in Europe, in Paris today, but going throughout Europe for the next two weeks. And you know, Asher, it really makes sense that we're here, that the Eiffel tower behind us. It was built by Gustave Eiffel and and it was the Gustav also built. Not only built this incredible Eiffel Tower. But he also built the Statue of Liberty, which is in the US. And what better partnership? It's, you know, partner US and France were partners from that, from then on, and still good partners. So, nice little, little connection there,

I think so I'd so So, for context, you know, gusta, my Eiffel provided the the metal that went into this tower, and then the metal that went into the Statue of Liberty. And then as we were walking down, I just thought that, like this tower symbolizes a sense of pride for the nation of France, and the Statue of Liberty symbolizes a sense of pride for the nation of the US, right and, and for all of us Americans and, and one of the things to think about is that a lot of hard work went into building this tower, and a lot of hard work went into building the Statue of Liberty. But once it was built the right way and it had a solid foundation, generations have been enjoying both of them and using it as a symbol of pride. And as we were thinking about building the future of partnerships, there's a lot of hard work in front of us, but if we build it the right way and lay the right foundation, we will have generations of partner people enjoying the benefits of it and finding a lot of pride of it from it. And that's why we were all the events that we're doing are all very high quality events. They're not in tier two locations that tier three, three venues. They're done in a very, very, very high quality way. And then you'll all see the pictures and enjoy it. But we've been on this journey since January and trying to understand what how what great partner leaders look like around the world, and how great partner programs are built. And so hopefully from here we'll meet everybody in Catalyst and and summarize all of our learnings.

And here it is behind us, right? Gusta Eiffel, incredible. You know, partner and and this, the symbols are all right here, and the crowds are all around here. It's a Sunday afternoon, and everyone's enjoying it. We are so excited to that on Tuesday, we have over 150 people that are registered in Paris and and 250 I think, in in London and then Manchester and Amsterdam and Berlin the next week. So if you're in one of those cities, make sure you're there. And if not follow along, we'll be posting things all the way along. So Asher, what do you say? See you at the event. See you guys. Thanks for joining you.
